Want to get DP a really special gift

Hi wise Mumsnetters. My DP has hit a really special achievement that he has worked really hard for and I want to buy him a congratulations gift. I was thinking of getting him a nice, special engraved watch but thinking about it the special one he has was willed to him when his uncle passed so I don’t think he’d use another one and it wouldn’t be as special.

Anyone have any suggestions of other special keep sakes?

Engraved bracelet?
Or necklace
Or even a ring.

What about a nice pen? That could be Engraved too. If he does a lot of writing?

Does he use things at work such as pens, brief case, folders etc? The problem with technology is that many tangible, practical things just aren't used anymore.

Does he drink? Nice glasses/decanter

Does he like music? Record player/limited edition record

First edition of a favourite book

If he likes trainers I know addidas do special editions and I believe you can get personalised versions (my dh is into them and a member of a FB page and some men are REALLY into collecting them!)

A really nice treat aftershave

A personalised wash bag with high quality razor etc

Paintings of your children if you have them?

A framed antique map or painting /photo of somewhere special to him?
