Face wash for 12 year old DS

Could anyone recommend a face wash for my 12 year old DS. He is starting to get a few spots and I would like to try and encourage him to use something to prevent before the breakouts happen. He tends to only wash his face when he is in the shower which at the minute is every other day.

My teenagers use Cetaphil, cleanses well without being harsh.
Cerave is also good.

I get my son the bulldog range

Good, old fashioned Clearasil (having consulted older teens). DS has the liquid which he does before bed and a face wash for the shower. Minimum effort makes it a winner.

Cetaphil gentle cleanser, morning & night

He needs to wash his face more often , as every other day isn’t enough.

Sam farmer is brill stuff, he's a dad of teenagers and it has a very considered ingredients list.

CeraVe and a clean flannel each time. I’d probably start with the gentlest crème (hydrating cleanser) and move onto the one salicylic with acid. I’m always a bit wary of anything foaming.

I wouldn’t bother with Dermalogica Gentle Cleansing as CeraVe dies it cheaper and better.

I prefer CeraVe to Cetaphil but others may differ.

I found Sam Farmer to be a bit drying as it’s foaming, but worth a try.

I love the Spots And Stripes range. It’s amazing and I use it myself to remove makeup. It cleans without foaming or being drying.

The product is the same for boys and girls it’s just the packaging that’s different. It’s getting more difficult to find than it used to and I live in fear of it being discontinued.
