Weird spots appearing..?!

I've got cold symptoms runny nose and sneezing. Have had Covid test- negative.

Just a bog standard cold I thought. Except today I've felt a bit itchy and now have these spots appearing. It's hard to see on a picture as it's not great but they are very red and do appear to have a centre.

There are the 4 on the picture and another two starting on my side and one on my chest.

I do feel a little bit itchy all over everywhere else now as well but not sure if that's just because I'm aware of the spots if that makes sense!

Any ideas? Not linked to the stretch marks (they are from my son a while ago and they don't actually all follow them).

They don't go when pressing a glass on them but then I wouldn't call them a rash either and I don't feel deathly ill or anything.

Weird spots appearing..?!

If they’re not fading under a glass it’s not a bog standard viral rash so I think you’ll have to get medical attention just in case its something that needs urgent treatment

As pp says above get medical advice but could it be Pityriasis Rosea?

I've just had a look and it doesn't look anything like this.

They actually look like bites if anything but I don't think they are.

Viral rashes don't always fade. Ds used to get them regularly that didn't fade.

But you can't guarantee that and you do need to go and get checked. They'll do a blood test in a&e for you.

Would it be a stupid question to ask if you have ever had chicken pox? Lots going around here and you can catch it as an adult. It starts on the torso and follows cold like symptoms so fits 🤷‍♀️

It was my first thought when I saw them as they do look like that. But yes I've had chicken pox before as a child! And shingles too.
