Anyone got an Oculus?

I got one for Xmas and just had a play for the first time. Absolutely insane! It’s for my use only, no DC.

If you have one, what can you recommend?

Sounds fascinating! I don’t really know much about them, how different are they to the VR gaming headsets? I tried one at a friends and thought it great but didn’t want to buy an Xbox.
Do you need a separate games console for these or is the oculus headset all you need?

The Oculus quest is standalone, so no console or PC needed. All you need is a smartphone to set it up.

Three in this house. Had the since Christmas 2020. Still played with as much as day one.

Do it! VR is amazing. If anything, it is a great exercise tool. Fun for people who would normally hate exercise.

I am a bit evil and get newbies to play Richie's Plank Experience. Have you tried the nightmare mode?

I haven’t yet @XenoBitch I mostly like flying around on the rainbow fart stream!

It has been a massive hit in our house this Christmas. I tried it on to play Beat Saber and wow, the feeling was unreal. Unfortunately it made me feel nauseous for half an hour afterwards so I won't be able to try it again.

The feeling of nausea goes. Dh and dd1 play more than me but they got acclimatised really quickly.

If you like puzzle games, I’ve been playing the room VR on there and thoroughly enjoying it.

I’ve played the 4 mobile app games, but the VR version is just next level!

Just ordered one off the back of this thread! I've seen the American ladies on the fb group talking about a referral code to get money towards games -is this available in the Uk? And if so do any of you have a code you want me to use?
