What's everyone up to today?

I'm mid-way through cleaning the kitchen & having a coffee break. Just a few bits to freeze so they don't go to waste & some pots left to sort.

No-one else has surfaced yet so it's lovely and quiet!

I'll finish my coffee, finish off the kitchen & by then hopefully dd2 will be up. The plan for today was to sort her bookshelf, drawers and wardrobe so her new things from Christmas and her birthday can go away properly.

Later on, I'd like to start my new crochet project of some socks dd1 requested. I was given the contrast colour yarn for Christmas & had a quick play with it last night but am not keen on the hook I tried so will try another one.

What about all of you? Anyone up to anything much?

Literally laying on the sofa and savouring the peace and quiet after 6 days of back to back family visits.

Also praying that we remain negative after being with multiple family members who are now starting to test positive. DP and I have a 2 night break booked for New Year somewhere I’ve been wanting to go for years and have been looking forward to for months. I know I’m unreasonable but if we test positive and don’t get to go I think I will cry.

Stayed in bed until lunchtime. Suffer from depression very badly at this time of year. However am now in the bath and will wash hair then read another book until the day passes

I'm working today but cant complain as its the only day I'm working over xmas. Im on lunch break from 2 to 3 and and then finished at 4, so I'm nearly there.

Laundry. I changed all the beds yesterday so I'm washing all the sheets.

That's basically it. I've got a cold and am back at work tomorrow 😭 so I'm taking it easy.

Will make spag bol for tea.

Had a clean up and done some washing now having a coffee and watching Death in Paradise then going to take the dog for a walk
Dh has gone to his studio to do some work
Dd has met a friend for lunch at a local cafe then her boyfriend’s coming over later and we are having a takeaway

Took down majority of Christmas decs, leaving the real tree and lights until Jan 5th, just needed to clear some space.

Washing bedsheets, redecorating my office with a lick of paint and some nice new wall hangings.

DH is doing errands and a tip run. Eldest 2 have gone to spend Xmas vouchers and youngest playing with Xmas Lego.

More leftovers with chips for dinner later...

Had to go to GAME for a new ps4 controller to prevent ww3 between two ds. Got a lecture from the teen in the shop because I wasnt buying the most expensive one! Cheek.
popped into primark for a pants/tights.
Now home,on couch stuffing my face. Was expecting a delivery of books but doesnt look like its coming today .
