Raspberry leaf capsules

I know this must have been done to death but can I please have experiences with raspberry leaf capsules ideally the 750mg ones (Amazon)

I'm curious if they are too strong? If anyone has taken them? If anyone (medically ) has any research that they have any affect at all.

DS was born at 39 weeks with quick labour and I did take these from 37 weeks but I'm alot more cautious now obviously cannot prove they had any effect at all.

Why did you feel the need to take them? Just curious.

I was recommended them but a friend/colleague who at the time that was explaining about what they did and how they worked and seemed knowledgable, I didn't know any better or to look into it myself.

6 years later i know about more about my body and pregnancies. I'm interested in others experiences too. I feel like it's entirely possible it's an app old wives tale but also always possible there is something in it.

I don't think it is an old wives tale. I believe that midwives don't recommend it for high risk pregnancies, so there must be something in it.

Didn't have the capsules but drunk lots of the tea and had a really easy birth!

It's over 30 years ago now but I took them for the births of my 2 DC.
DS1 was born in 4hrs 20 minutes, with contractions lasting 20 seconds only.
DS2 was longer, 7 hours, but I was still at work for the first 2.5 hours of labour.
Just gas and air and a TENS machine for pain relief.
