Amazon - vouchers to use

I've been given some Amazon vouchers and haven't really purchased much from there for a while (save from some lipbalm I like). Years ago you used to be able to get brands like Nomads there so I thought I'd search for that brand to see if there was anything decent and while a few items appeared the majority was randomly-named brands that I've never heard of, nothing to do with Nomads. I spoke to a friend about this and he said that there's a lot of Chinese brands that sell on Amazon and apparently it's very hit or miss quality wise, he also said that these brands offer buyers vouchers in exchange for good reviews of their products.

So I'm not sure what to buy now, but I certainly won't be chancing buying stuff that might end up being crap quality. I like natural fabrics, some ethical clothing brands but not sure if there's many available there now. Maybe they still sell some outdoorsy brands?

I also read that Amazon vouchers are valid for 10 years so there's not a huge rush to use them but thought I'd ask. I don't want to blow it all on junk.

You are best not focusing on clothes. They sell pretty much EVERYTHING else you can think off that you might need. I even bulk buy toiletries (deodorant, face wipes, shampoo) and make up (max factor primer) as it's cheaper than the high street. Also: kitchen gadgets, envelopes, pens, office type stuff, toys, Alexa if you don't have one, books, electrical gadgets of all sorts.

Thanks I'll need to think about what I want, I don't think I need any gadgets and buy a lot of my beauty stuff from independent businesses. Books might be a good idea! Need to put my thinking cap on - thanks!

I bulk buy dog food from Amazon - can you use them for something utilitarian and free up cash for spending on businesses you like?
