I need to get a grip on myself

So I'm sat here stressing about my hospital appointment I have next week (annual cancer check up). I keep thinking the worse all because last year it didn't go well (all ok now).
Last year was a tough year and 2020 too and now I keep thinking I am going to have a bad start to 2022.
Can someone please tell me to get a grip and stop thinking like this 😩

How about you are due some good luck?
I know and appreciate how horrible anxiety can feel, particularly with a good cause. Have you something like Headspace on your phone for a bit of guided meditation? Might help.
Good luck with your appointment.

You don’t need to ‘get a grip’. It’s a big deal. Be kind to yourself. Do what you need to to get to the appointment and results.

You absolutely don’t need to get a grip. It’s really scary. My mum felt the same every time she had a follow up check up too. It’s normal 😘
