Hard uterus but not pregnant??

Hi just wondering if anyone has had similar symptoms and could shed some light on what on earth is going on in my uterus.
Im currently waiting for a call back from 111 but it could be over 24hours.
My uterus keeps going hard and lumpy, much like when i was pregnant (have taken tests, all negative). Today in particular when i woke up, i was lying flat on my back and there was a hard lump sticking right up on 1 side below my belly button, but then it went down again after 5seconds ( it still felt firm internally though if that makes sense) and then other days its soft and i can't feel anything at all Confused
Im having bleeding between my periods, sometimes heavy and clotty and sometimes just spotting.
I have googled which gives scary results..
Anyone that has ever had anything similar, please share!

Cysts? Fibroids?

Why would you phone 111 about this? What a waste of time. This is a routine GP appt.

I don’t have experience to share but surely negative tests and bleeding are not particularly reliable reasons to not be pregnant? Surely the only reliable reason is that you haven’t had sex at all?

Hope you can get the matter resolved soon though.

I did a 111 online questionnaire and it told me to request a callback from a nurse within 24hrs. My gp is shut at the moment due to the covid booster jab drive so i cant get an appointment for a long time, otherwise i would go down that road. What if its something sinister, am i meant to just hope it goes away Confused I have come across fibroids in my Googling but do they make your uterus hard and then it goes down again, id imagine its constantly palpable? Its so bizarre.
