I love my DM but there is always so much conflict 😢

My parents don’t live in the UK so when we see them it’s always for at least a week or longer at my house or theirs. We are very close and I know they really care about me and my teen dd but there is always so much conflict it’s really getting me down. It’s always the same things - my mother being a cleaning/tidying freak (and believe me, I am no slob). And the other thing is that whenever my dd and I have any sort of disagreement my mother wades in and has a go at me saying things like “how can you say that”. She means well but has undermined me as a parent ever since my dd was born. All I would like is to spend quality time with my parents but it’s never like I would like it to be.
