Your DC friends

When you have a house full of DC friends (young teens) do you leave them all to it or do you pop in and out of the room. We have a few coming over this week ( mixed group) and I don't want to try and act like one of their mates but I also don't want them run riot all over the house so would like to be a bit of a presence!? I don't want to make my kids feel cringe though 🤣🤣

I don't pop in no. I make sure my DD knows their limits....eg. "No, you're not all taking over my sitting room"

But I also make sure there's a lot of easy to make snacks in the house and drinks. Instant noodles, pizza in the freezer, bread for toast and biscuits/chocolate/crisps.

Boy teens eat an astonishing amount ....I never realised as I have girls only.

I let them do their thing....
