A bit premature but here goes anyway...
For me it was the thread comparing Taylor Swift to Shakespeare; based on that I gave her 'Folklore' album a listen and I've had it on repeat ever since.
I'm also debating buying a Parlux hairdryer based on past threads and the MN top 10 buys but I haven't quite committed yet.
Anyone else?
