I gave birth a week ago and have been going regularly and it's quite soft so I declined any stool softeners etc. Anyway, the other night I had such awful back/abdo pain that I went to a&e where they did a scan because they thought it could be a kidney stone but it was just poop stuck quite high up in my colon. Went away with some laxatives which I took and seemed to work but this evening the pain has come back.
Has anyone else had this? It's just so odd to me that I can be going regularly and the consistency is fine but I'm still so constipated that it causes this awful pain.
