Lump?

I have what appears to be a lump above my left breast. It's not quite my breast (and doesn't feel like it's breast tissue) or my armpit so I'm not sure if it's anything to bother about. It feels about the size of a small marble but is easily moveable and doesn't feel hard. I'm not sure if it's related to the muscle there although there isn't one on the other side. I have also had some green discharge from that breast but only under pressure. I am 43 but had a hysterectomy about 3 months ago and figured that may be related to menopause.
I know I should probably go and get it checked but I worry that they'll think I'm stupid if they can't feel anything.

Sorry I meant to ask what it could be given it's placement?!

They won't think you're stupid- go and get it checked. Hopefully nothing but always best to make sure.

They won't think you are stupid 100%
The discharge alone is enough to look in to it.
I have periductal ectasia so used to nasty discharge. Op the breast clinic specialists are amazing.

Please do go. I have had problems with my boobs for years, and have been to the GP dozens of times, always been examined and reassured it’s nothing to worry about. I went again in early October with another boob issue, was referred to the breast clinic and diagnosed with breast cancer end of October. Please note…I’m NOT telling you this to frighten you! I’m telling you because I’ve been diagnosed as early stage one, and am receiving chemotherapy (for 24 weeks then surgery) with a view to curing me AND preventing recurrence…if I’d ignored it, who knows what may have happened? It’s utterly shit having this diagnosis BUT I hopefully have a good outlook because I went straight away.

There’s dozens of things it could be, and the chances are it’s nothing serious, but I can guarantee you they won’t think you’re a stupid or time wasting etc. Please don’t delay, get it checked out
