I've just catered for a full on Christmas with DH's dysfunctional
older bickering relatives. They were a nightmare. I'm not doing it next year!

I just love the idea of going away. Haven't done this since before we had kids. We spent one xmas then in Kerala. It was brilliant!

Just wondering where everyone else goes Smile

We normally do new year ish time. Normally 29/30th to Caribbean for 2 weeks all inclusive for 2 adults. We upgrade our seats and it costs us around £4000. I think Xmas is sound about the same . Tbh the prices don't fluctuate much all year.

We've been to Goa a few times, which is lovely and still quite festive as it's a predominantly Catholic part of India. We've also been on a couple of Safaris, which we've loved. For a reasonably priced getaway, we quite enjoy the Canaries - weather usually good and still quite Christmassy - though we tend to avoid the 'Brits Abroad' type places. We love to get away at Christmas and have really missed it over the last couple of years.
