I met with a friend on friday 24\12 her mum has now tested positive and the family are taking pcr tests today - wondering how soon after contact you can pass it on?

Does the friend live with the mum?
They look at contacts in the 2 days before symptoms or positive test (if no symptoms)
I doubt you'd be counted as any sort of contact if your friend was ok on the 24th

Her mum has been staying with them for a few days I am concerned as I had my elderly parents here on xmas day and my daughter who is 11 weeks pregnant.

Any tips for coping with spinning room (vertigo) had it once a couple of years ago for a day. Woke up three days ago room spinning like a top now feeling wobbly but spinning sensation slightly less? Had the "cold from hell" few weeks ago wondering if its linked?
