How do I stop making myself so vulnerable?

Telling people my business. It needs to stop. But it's like verbal diarrhoea. People who I think I can trust like my mum, my husband and sisters. They're the ones that hurt me using what I've told them when I've been upset against me. Mocking me, laughing at me, judging me or simply using that against me in arguments.

A good tip is to act as listener in a conversation. People love to talk about themselves so focus on them. Actively listen. Don’t interrupt. Don’t fill the silence. Ask questions. If you do this it will stop you from being the one in the conversation filling in the blanks and over sharing.

Your husband should know better though. He shouldn’t make you feel bad when you’re trying to be open. That’s not cool.

Hope you’re ok x
