Laundry....

2 days I've not done any washing, 2 sodding days and I swear to god there must be people living in my house I don't know about!

My two wash baskets are overflowing with a stupid amount of washing
Gggggrrrrr, that is all!

My house is the same. It is like when you think you've got on top of the laundry and then a child helpfully "tidies" their room and more clothes than you ever knew existed suddenly appear in the basket. Most of them things you've already washed and have not been worn but never got put away so the child in question has just scooped them from floor and back to laundry again.

Also why do teens oscillate between wearing the same top for days in a row so it stinks and putting their jeans in the wash because they wore them for about 5 minutes after school one day?

@ChocolateRiver - it's just never ending isn't it. I could honestly lose my shit. I've begrudgingly chucked a load in, to make myself feel better more than anything

My Christmas present to me was no laundry yesterday. Today x3 loads and counting.

Was the same here when house full of teens..all of that.. then the all went off to college. Felt so weird just putting our few bits in the machine. I kept searching the house for things to fill the machine. And very strange not to be doing a wash everyday. So brighter days ahead..but feels abnormal!!!

My OH is living with me for a while. He smokes . I don’t. So every time he has a cigarette he washes his face and hair in the sink and changes his clothes 😡

Today I'm paying the game of seeing how many clothes pile up while I wash towels and bedding.

Omg I'd be raging. How much does he smoke. If that was my DF it would be 20 a day. My DSS puts hoodies in the wash after a few hours of wear. They're all bloody non dryer ones so take days to dry and get on my tits hanging on the clothes airer

Well my brand new tumble dryer stopped spinning on Friday with a load of clothes in there and a washing machine full of wet clothes 😫😫

Had planned for all the laundry to be done before Xmas but now I'm swamped in it drying every where 😫

I'm going to be straight on the phone on Wednesday trying to get it fixed or replaced 🤞

Herecomesthesun70 and RandomMess to be fair we both make up the machine to a full load with whatever is around . OH had a complete mental breakdown this summer, lost his job and has had to sell his car and house to be able to live . The smoking is a direct result of all that so I can’t be too harsh on him but he is the total opposite of me who wears clothes until they are actually dirty before washing them 😁😁 he’s never had children but had to wash his work clothes every day so got into the (bad an non environmentally friendly) habit 😁
