I hate the week between Xmas and New year

Anyone else? Just booked a holiday on a whim for next year so we'll be away 27th to 31st.I like being off work and with family but all the days merge into one I find.Maybe I'm doing it wrong!

I hate that DD’s nursery has a 2 week shutdown over Christmas. The weather is shit, usual groups/classes are off, lots of places are closed.

Pre DC I used to work between Christmas and New Year. It was lovely and quiet so I could get loads done in peace with no one bothering me, and I kept my leave for times when there was more I wanted to do.
