Educational apps for Kindle fire

We got our DD who is 6 a Kindle fire tablet for Christmas - can anyone recommend some good educational apps I can download for her?

Sign up for Amazon kids, I think its about £2/3 per month and you get access to hundreds of age appropriate apps (like Teach Your Monster to Read which is great) and there are also hundreds of free childrens kindle books to download.
