Cornflake tart

Does anyone know where I can buy ready made cornflake tart, or butterscotch tart? I'm having nostalgia for 1980s school dinner puddings 😊

They are the easiest things to make ... buy a ready cooled pastry case, syrup, butter and sugar in a pan until sugar melts, add cornflakes and then pile on the case - bake for 5 minutes!

We just used to crush cornflakes and cover with golden syrup and then put it in the oven until the lastly case was cooked - so I guess about 20 minutes with raw pastry. Not sure how long with a pre cooked case.

Thanks, I have previously made it but hadn't thought of using pre-cooked tart. The recipe I use also involves a layer of jam

It has to have jam!

I agree with the easiest way to do it is using a ready made tart shell.
