Nest of tables

At my mum's and have just realised how useful a nest of tables is. Are they dated, or can anyone recommend a modern version please?

Not dated at all if you go for the right look. I'd choose something with Scandi three-prong legs. Maisons du Monde have some lovely table nests, although not the cheapest. Their website will probably give you some ideas though.

We also decided recently that a nest of tables would be useful but decided to embrace the datedness and bought vintage (midcentury teak G plan) which my mother thinks is hilarious as she skipped a similar item many years ago.

Love mine, they’re incredibly handy and space-saving. I have a G-Plan Quadrille set I found for £50 on eBay, if my budget could stretch to it I’d get Ercol Pebble ones.

I've inherited my grandparents. Not cool, soooo useful!

I'd love a Pebble set but I found a lovely G plan Quadrille coffee table in a skip which my DH renovated. Looks great. Unfortunately the others tables in the nest weren't there. I keep lookingGrin

I bought a lovely oak nest of tables from Cotswold company. Hopefully we will get to use them when Christmas plans are reorganised.

I was just pondering this the other day!

We need to rearrange the living room and I’m hampered by DH wanting side tables to put drinks down on. I was wondering if a nest of tables would be a solution.

We do have a nest of two fairly plain walnut ones I got from Laura Ashley about ten years ago. But they are not used as a ‘nest’. One is a side table and DS is using the other with a cushion on as a footstool.

My mum uses them as side tables when the family are round, so useful. In my house it's usually just DD and I but they would be very useful for when we have visitors.
