Traybake roast potatoes and parsnips from Aldi. What's the harm?

Maybe they were previously frozen?
I'd chance it. I dont see what the harm would be

coogee · 26/12/2021 12:08

I’d reheat them too.

LIZS · 26/12/2021 12:08

Is there butter or goose fat on them?

starfishofbethlehem · 26/12/2021 12:09

Because some idiots will give themselves food poisoning. I'd reheat too. Or make into bubble and squeak with the sprouts

Snoopsnoggysnog · 26/12/2021 12:10

I’d reheat too, I don’t really get this.
I reheated an Aldi chocolate pudding yesterday

BarbaraofSeville · 26/12/2021 12:10

I've ignored this instruction multiple times and never had any negative effects.

Despite all the noise they make about waste reduction, what food manufacturers and retailers want us all to do is throw it away and buy some more.

ComDummings · 26/12/2021 12:12

I think as long as you reheat things so they’re really hot it’s fine tbh

ArblemarzipanTFruitcake · 26/12/2021 12:12

As long as you heat them thoroughly they'll be fine.

I

HoardingSamphireSaurus · 26/12/2021 12:12

Usually because the texture changes. Nothing nasty happens. And yes, they want you to buy more.

Pretty much this. Some idiot won't reheat it properly and then want to sue Aldi for not warning them that if they don't reheat it properly they could make themselves sick. Easier for Aldi to say not to reheat it, at least then when someone moans at them they can shrug and say "we clearly stamp on the package do not do it"
musicalfrog · 26/12/2021 12:17

Thank you all, reheating will commence! Enjoy your boxing day Grin
