From the pharmacy or not. I will try anything at this point!

Tested negative but have the most irritating cough, it's ticking/itchy in the back of my throat but has started to be productive. It is driving me mad and I haven't been able to sleep much at all. DS is coughing too but not as frequently.

I've tried hot showers, honey, lemon, apple cider vinegar. Sleeping propped up, tickly cough syrup warm drinks, pineapple juice, herbal cough sweets.

What are your secrets to suppressing a cough?!

Cover the soles of your feet in Vicks vapor rub and put socks on at night.

Broncho Stop pastilles are amazing, they were the only thing that worked allowing me to get some sleep when I recently had a chest infection.

When I have a lingering cough, it's often due to a post nasal drip. Using a beconase spray twice a day for up to a week gets rid of it every time.

Sudafed to dry up the sinuses, which causes the nasal drip which causes the cough.

I've just received my pcr result, negative but really annoying tickly cough. When I was young, my parents room was next to mine - both beds up against the adjoining wall. I was always told to cough deep into my pillow when I had a cough at nighttime Hmm
Thanks for reminding me about the nasal spray. Try and keep off the chocolate and cheese as dairy can make you produce more mucus.
Now, any tips on how to clear my ears? No infection (as per doctor on Wednesday) but felt like my head is underwater since Sunday and improvement is slow and minimal!

Thyme tea with a bit of honey and lemon added if you like. Thyme is really good for coughs.
