Induction hobs

Our gas job has packed in a few days ago. I have ordered an AEG Induction hob to replace it. I picked it quickly on the basis of reviews but am now panicking. Is it the right one? Please recommend one for me as I know nothing about them.
Thanks!

I'm a new owner of an AEG induction hob. Never had one before. We're still getting to know each other, but so far so good!

That’s good to hear!

Love induction. Ours isn't AEG but induction is brilliant, easy to clean, quick to heat and cool and so quick at boiling water we've gone back to a stove top kettle rather than electric.

I have a NEFF induction hob and it's fantastic. I definitely prefer it to gas.

I have an AEG induction hob. It’s ok, bit noisy, easy to clean. I would have liked two big plates, one medium and one small, but it has one large, one small and two medium, both at the back. Not sure how else it could be configured but it’s a minor irritation.

@OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea, what kettle do you have please? Thinking of getting a stove top too.

MIL indulged DH for his birthday and we have a Le Creuset kettle.

I love my induction hob. It’s fabulous.

Sorry. I have a Neff one. Had it about 7 years and hate it.

To be fair it isn't the induction bit i hate as much as the 'touch' controls. It regularly switches itself off if it gets a bit wet eg when steaming veg and the condensation trickles down. Give me a twisty knob anytime!
