Multicookers- which one is best to replace our ailing Pressure King Pro? Or have separate things for separate functions?

Yes, so the PKP now has half a display and two (one spare) inner bowls which are scratched to high heaven.
I’m using Alexa to time the food in it because of the almost unreadable display
So, now the sales are on/ about to begin, which Multicooker is the best?

I’d have just bought an air fryer if the pkp was okay, but I think it’s best to replace the whole lot.
Should we buy separate or buy Multicooker?

The Multicooker would need a decent slow cooker function that cooks both high and low. My PKP slow cooker was crap, and I’d prefer to get rid of my cumbersome separate slow cooker if necessary.

So, it needs pressure cooker, slow cooker, airfryer and the ability do chicken and roast potatoes at the same time . Please 🙏 …
Also, what’s the dehydrater for? Is that useful?

The Ninja foodi looks the obvious choice, or is there an alternative that is better? There are two of us, me and dh.

Or are we better off using separate things for separate functions?
All we have is the PKP and large slow cooker, microwave and oven.
Any help/advice/recommendations appreciated 💐

*I think it’s the best to replace the whole thing, but would be equally happy if advice is to keep all separate x

I've 95% decided to buy a Ninja Foodi so I'm also interested in opinions. Dehydrating is to dry fruit, veg, etc to make healthy snacks. Very useful for me as I'm on a very restricted diet for medical reasons but I think I'd rather have chocolate Grin

We have two separate gadgets, because I only recently invested in an air Fryer and we already have an Instant Pot. I love the Instant Pot and would recommend it BUT I had no idea that there was something out there which would do everything.

Ah, so that’s what dehydrating is…… very interesting. I need to lose a few pounds but I hear you about the chocolate 🍫😁😁. Thank you for explaining. We are thinking of getting a dog so could be handy for treats.

Dehydration is fantastic for dog treats - much cheaper and healthier than buying them Smile

I’m hoping somebody will come on and say the slow cooker function is good. I need to replace the large sc which takes up so much room in the cupboard.

I’ve read reviews but not many mention the slow cooker function …

The Ninja Foodi. Trust me, you'll never look back!

OldTinHat · 26/12/2021 09:20

Oh and the SC function is excellent on it. As is the pressure cooker, grill, saute, bake...!

RufustheFloralmissingreindeer · 26/12/2021 09:35

My dad loves and adores his ninja

I see him for coffee twice a week and I’m fairly positive that he tells me how much he loves it every single time

No idea about the slow cooker function I’m afraid

We have the air fryer instant pot and it's awesome. It does slow cooking but we've never used it because we pressure cook everything. It's fabulous. Did our Christmas Dinner chicken in it.

Oh good, that’s encouraging, thank you 🙂
