Baby weight

I have a one year old who weighs about 8.7 kg, he eats 3 times a day as well as healthy snacks and breastfeeding. He was born 3.3kg and I am worried as my mother keeps telling me he is underweight and I need to feed him more.
I spoke to hv and gp and they said it is ok but they are not offering me any check ups due to covid as they think it’s normal.
Today I met another baby who is 10 months (girl) and weight is over 10kg.
During feeding time he doesn’t like to each much, most of it gets thrown about.
Now I am worried if he is not getting enough as my mother keeps telling me.

Can I get some advice from other mums? Should I be worried? Maybe introduce more solids?

Hi op, babies/toddlers vary so much in weight. I remember ds1 was only 19lb on his 1st birthday and another friends dd1 was 18lb, whereas other babes/toddlers weighed much more.
