Once you've downloaded a world pack to Minecraft Java? How do you then open the pack in Minecraft to play it?

The girls have downloaded a world pack to Minecraft Java today but can't work out what to do after that & I have no idea

Any Minecraft-savvy folks about who could advise please? (Preferably before my head pops!

Minecraft Bedrock player here, usually it's just create a new world and choose the downloaded world pack from the templates list, not sure if it's the same on Java though?

Dd1 thinks she's figured it out; fingers crossed 🤞 it was a zip file & looks like they needed to unzip it first...not that they listened when I suggested that 🙄🙄
