Why do I trust Jamie bloody Oliver??

Tired his roast beef on a trivet of carrots, celery and onion as per the recipe.

Gravy tastes disgusting, far too much onion flavour, can I rescue it or bin it and the JO book?!

I guess you could put gravy granules in it after watering it down.
But you can’t really blame jamie, I often roast beef like this and I like it. It’s just individual taste.

Tried an oxo cube, gravy granules and still tastes of onion.

A lot of chefs always use too many onions in my opinion. I always halve what they put they advise.
