Where are my PCR results?!

Anyone else been waiting ages for PCR results? I’m in London and had the test at a drive through place 3pm Tuesday. I don’t know whether to chase them. I’m pretty sure I have Covid, symptoms plus three positive LFT, but it would be good to have it confirmed.

I’d chase them up.. what have you got to loose?

Why wouldn't you chase?

I had to wait 3 full days and I'm not even in a hugely populated area. I actually got a text saying I'd been a close contact of someone who'd tested positive before he was informed he was positive!

I'm starting to wonder why we need PCR's tbh

TBH, with symptoms and positive LFTs I would just go along with assuming I had it.

I think test results are taking ages to come through as they're overwhelmed with tests.

Conversely, my LFT was negative and I had no symptoms so was quite surprised to have a positive PCR.
