vaccine status for travel abroad

Hi all,

I've downloaded and printed off my vaccine status for travel in February but I've noticed that the 2D QR code expires in 1 month before I travel.

But does that matter because obviously the actual information about the vaccines doesn't change etc and is all correct? Double vaccinated and boosted.

Any advice from travellers please?

You need to download it just before you go as they only last a month at a time. You could download every day and it just moves the expiry date by one day.

You could ask for a printed version, that doesn't expire, so you don't have the faff of having to keep downloading a new one.

Why not just use the NHS app? I just travelled and it was super easy. Just renew when it expires. I didn’t need a single piece of paper for all the checks.
