My daughter is in hospital and they wouldn't let me stay as she's on an adult ward. I'm worried sick and irrational intrusive thoughts are flooding me

What's causing your anxiety? Any trigger? It's just horrific isn't it

Can you get a coffee there? Can you ring any relatives or friends to reassure you? No wonder you are anxious. I hope your daughter recovers well and quickly.

Sorry to hear about your daughter, that is awful and you must be so worried. Is she well enough to speak to?

@amiafreakofnature oh I have PTSD and ME (and a whole lot of other things) - triggered by past trauma and extreme exhaustion. I basically became a totally different person after that, get severe stress and anxiety from literally nothing. I basically can't cope with anything - no matter how small or insignificant it is. Anxiety is just awful - before I got ill I had no idea what it even was! I'd recommend trying some breathworks - it really does help.

Sorry about disappearing I had to go over at 2am as she was in a tizz and worried and I just needed to hold her and tell her it's all okay x

It's horrendous isn't it. Nobody can appreciate just how debilitating it is unless they experience it. I hate it

@amiafreakofnature yes the anxiety thing is horrid - it's so physical isn't it - no one would think it comes from the mind!

How is your daughter doing now?

She's home today which is great but she's anxious herself

@amiafreakofnature have you ever tried @ breathewithjames on Instagram? Might be worth a try. I tried everything over the last few years, and it's the only thing that helps me relax
