Ideas please - big birthday celebration - help me not leave it to the last minute...

It is my partners birthday, late Spring.

Need to plan ahead...not really my forte and decision making even less so - but know that if I leave this one I'll be even more super stressed...

So...help me please.

We have 5 grown up (sometimes...😉) DC's between us - a couple with partners. Elderly parents too - but not so necessary to include them.
Thoughts so far ...

A large holiday house for a weekend but where...and is 'being together' enough or do I still need to plan 'something' - looking at holiday houses some are ££££

A glamping type break - possibly more to do, fire pits etc

A meal in a hotel with a one night stay - again...where ...

Really appreciate any thoughts and good ideas.

Location - DC's in Scotland, NE, North York's and NW.

Holiday house. Maybe ask each of the kids to organise a thing for each day. Do a big dinner one night.

  1. Check that they all want to spend the weekend away with you. Dont assume.

Thanks both. Yes, too true about all joining us. We did do this once before and it was great, so something to build on.
