Anything to help with dizziness tonight?

Posted here for more traffic because I'm feeling a bit desperate!

I had my booster yesterday (Pfizer) and today I have been dizzy with 'brain zaps' to quite a miserable degree. In fact to the point where I can't even just try and sleep through it because even when lying down I feel like I'm on an unsteady boat or balancing on something rocky. It's very strange and not helpful for aiding sleep! Plus every time I move I get a brain 'zap'

The symptoms don't concern me that much, dizziness is a known side effect and I often get brain zaps if I miss my anti depressant dose so I assume it's something I'm prone to and just another side effect.

However I'm desperate for some sleep. My kids are with their dad for the first time in a really long time and I've been so looking forward to some quality unbroken sleep and a lie in!

Is there anything that might help? Certain vitamins, or medications or old wives takes or anything? I'd be so grateful for any suggestions because this is grim and I'm fed up with it now.

I would still absolutely get the booster btw and this shouldn't put anyone off, I've no doubt I'll be fine very soon. I just would like to sleep tonight!

Have you had enough water? I find the times I get dizzy i’m either dehydrated, have a UTI or if it’s happening regularly I’m probably a touch anaemic.
If I were you I’d drink a pint of water and take an iron supplement and multivitamin.

I feel your pain. I've had this after each vaccine. It takes a few days to settle. I have MS and so put it down to that. As previous poster said stay well hydrated and avoid salty processed foods x

Yea drinking water like a fish will keep doing so. I do suspect I'm anaemic actually but haven't managed to get into GP to ask for blood test (I get anaemic a lot, I recognise the signs). I'll take some iron, I'd forgotten to do so probably most of this week so that might help.

Thank you both of you, will feel good to do something at least!
