I call it Tetris 😂

It's Tetris while you're trying to fit it all in. It's Jenga when you're trying to get bits out without it all falling out 😂

Yep , fridge Jenga here . I just shove everything in with no thought and then berate myself because the stuff I need now is at the back 🤦‍♀️

'Jengtris' might cover both situations which are currently the state of our fridge and cupboards.

I would love to have this fight at the moment...instead I have to travel for hours tomorrow with a dog who extremely dislikes the car......JOY TO ALL AND ALL THAT.....I would prefer to just sit in my loungewear watching rubbish tv and a microwave meal in a nice quiet clean house without worrying about picking up this bloody virus.....fed up of having to just go along with things just to keep everyone else happy.....doing the complete opposite next year that's for sure

Sainsburys delivery between 4 and 5 so this will be me later.

I want to know what is the flavour of the (looks like) home-made jam or chutney on the top shelf ? I'm a preserves nerd and I make many different jams and also buy home made jams when I find them for sale.

Yep, desperately eating anything that will clean some space, had soup with left over mashed potatoes and chocolate mousse for lunch. That was... interesting 😂

Ours is always like that anyway.

We call it fridge origami which actually makes no sense at all. Just had the big shop delivered and everyone slunk away to let me get on with the packing it away. Top shelf out of bounds until ‘ the day’ 😁 DS came down to admire the goods and congratulated me on how i had got it all in! Then he looked outside and saw the bags of beer, wine, fruit and veg and fruit juices 😁 that no way would fit in.

We have our milk delivered. Because there is no delivery at Christmas we had double the usual quantity this morning. All in one pint glass bottles whose lids don't stay on if they're not upright. They take up a huge amount of space, but tend to fall over -and leak - if things are slid in on top of them.

Every year I promise myself I will cancel the order and buy big plastic containers with proper lids. Every year I forget.

Yep. The car fridge has been started too.the more robust veg are stored in the boot of the car.

I used to have this problem so bought an American style fridge freezer for our kitchen and moved the single one to the garage. Absolute bliss, no need to fridge jenga and plenty of space for ice / frozen puddings etc too

Be careful of that double cream, I’ve already had one pot fall out and splatter all over the floor….

I forgot to buy cream 😳 ah well, will make trifle after Christmas
