Has anyone have any experience of these?
Need some new straightners and like the look of these, but seen mixed reviews?
Love to hear your experiences,
Thanks Smile

Straighteners

My friend does. She loves everything Dyson, but wasn’t overly impressed with these. She has a £30 pair she takes on holiday with her and said they were no better than those. She is obsessed with the hair dryer though.

I have them, as well as the hairdryer.

I do like them, but in all honesty I don't think the price charged for them is justified. I've previously had GHDs and Cloud9s and while they're better they're not THAT much better. They're quite heavy and run out of charge pretty quickly. The cordless aspect isn't actually that much of a bonus for me given I straighten my hair in front of my bedroom mirror 99% of the time (where there is a power socket)

I wouldn't say the same about the hairdryer though, I would replace that in a heartbeat if it died.

I feel that they are probably better for my hair. But they are quite bulky and heavy in comparison to my GHDs. I like them but I do think they are over priced.
I also have the hair dryer. Again I like it and it does a good job. But just too pricey.

Every year I get my bonus and think I'm going to buy an airwrap with it and they're always out of stock, by the time they come back in stock I've bought 5 nice things with that money ... they do just seem overpriced to be honest
I have cloud 9 straighteners which are great

My mum has the hair dryer & loves it. She had the straighteners for Christmas last year. She used them twice & went back to her old ones, she didn't like them & sold them!

I have the hairdryer and it's great. I sold the airwrap I bought. I was tempted by the straighteners!!

I've used my sisters hairdryer twice. I have a bob and use the dryer to dry it straightish before using irons.

I find the Dyson dryer takes as long as my regular dryer and worse strips my hair and makes it lustreless.

Am I missing something? It's one of those things i want to love (my mum is gagging to buy me one) but it's too expensive to get wrong.

Rubyupbeat · 23/12/2021 22:14

Thanks for the feedback, I may give them a swerve. I think I will go with the cloud 9.

I love mine. I've noticed way less damage with them
