Help with iPhone 11 Pro Max please

I used to have the iPhone 8 Plus and if I swiped up there were shortcuts to alter brightness and switch off WiFi etc. with my iPhone 11 Pro Max it doesn't do that, is there another way to quickly do this rather than going into the settings each time?

I think you need to swipe diagonally from the upper right hand corner now. I have a normal iPhone 11.

Swipe down on the right side of your phone. Right side should bring down your shortcuts (which you can edit in settings if they’re not all there) and swiping down the left side brings notifications. (This does occasionally glitchy but keep swiping down on the right side, Itll be the shortcuts eventually!) HTH
