IKEA tomorrow - is it a terrible idea?

Need to go and get some extra crockery for Xmas dinner.

As they don't sell Xmas presents, do you think it's likely to be quiet or rammed with people buying homeware?

Thinking about Leeds or Sheffield - has anyone been in the last week?

Just go really early.

Round our way the shopping centres/retail parks have been very empty, not like Christmas at all.
So I'd say go for it.

I went yesterday (Croydon) and it was busy but ok. Very few glasses or crockery left though!

DH went to Birstall last night(not to IKEA) and it was fine. I’d probably go late evening.

Don’t know about ikea but I went Christmas shopping today at big city centre shopping centre and it really wasn’t that busy at all. I was quite surprised.
I think if you go early doors or last thing you’ll be fine.

I would go in the late evening. As someone mentioned up thread, the Croydon branch only had a small selection of glasses.

Went early. Could practically dance around the store, but couldn't buy a wine glass for love nor money!
