With DH - triple jabbed, recently had Covid. Me - triple jabbed. DS - no jabs. In the cheap seats so will probably be unable to distance. I really want to go as it'll be a great show and DS has been really excited but very nervy about the obvious.

@MarshaBradyo

Where has the 1 in 4 thing come from?
An earlier poster (I assume mistakenly) posted that 1 in 4 Londoners CURRENTLY have Covid.

I live in London and I wouldn't take the risk. It's not worth ruining your Christmas for. Lots of people are catching it right now, despite the majority of people being very careful.

I went a few days ago, surprisingly full despite some cancellations. Double jabbed (now had booster) and didn't catch covid. Aircon seemed to be on high. But obviously the more you interact with people - transport, shops, entertainment, etc. - the greater the covid risk.

We have tickets for Christmas Eve and have also cancelled. I’m determined to have a family Christmas this year and can’t risk catching something and needing to isolate and missing being together or more importantly transmitting something to elderly relatives. That’s my take.

We went to the theatre on Sunday, we drove rather than taking the tube as it was long time for us on the central line.

I felt comfortable in the theatre - all wore masks and we weren't squished in (it was free for all seating) it was only for an hours show.

We are testing daily since had been since Thursday anyway as kids were close contacts and nothing yet.

Im on the do it but do what you can to keep yourself safe.

I recently read about a company called Nanosynth, I believe they sell the only pro lava mask that kills the covid virus for up to 7 hours. I’d wear one of those and go and enjoy the theatre if I were you.

@Sally090807 - they do sound good although have left it a little late.

Still in two minds. Aghhhh.
