What is this trend of non presenters, presenting?

Everywhere! Especially the One Show.

It's honestly cringeworty! There must be plenty of up and coming presenters who are actually skilled at presenting and who aren't just bored with being a boy/girl band or Dragons Den member and want to try something new.

I'm all for giving people a chance, but there has to be some kind of underlying talent and skill in that field.. Basic skill in this case, being able to read an autocue!!

I think on the One Show they are just using people to fill for Alex Jones whilst she is on maternity leave.

I agree! It really winds me up, it should be a journalist or presenter not some pop star or sports person. Often they are so wooden
