Identifying Japanese art

A bit niche but wondering if anyone could help in identifying a piece of Japanese art. I assume this is the artists signature but with it not being English I have no idea how to go about googling it!

It's in my in laws house and they want to get rid of it but don't want to miss out if it's worth something. So any help much appreciated!

Is it definitely Japanese? It looks Chinese to me, from the style of the red seals.

you can look up an auction house (e.g. bonhams) and email them photos. send the clearest images you can of front & back. If it is worth something, they will get back to you.

@EishetChayil thanks, from a google it does indeed look to be Chinese rather than Japanese. I was told Japanese and with my non-existent knowledge of any art I didn't question it!
