Any idea how long the wait for a vasectomy is?

My DH has just spoken to the doctor and been referred but never asked how long the wait will be.
We are in the North West.
Does anyone know how long to expect?

My husband waited 6/7 weeks. This was back in the summer and we are in Yorkshire.
