Does anyone know how to add a word to autocorrect on a Samsung phone?

I am a fat fingered typer and there are certain words that I almost always end up spelling wrongly that for some reason don't autocorrect. This sort of thing:

You're = yiuyr
You = yiu
For = fir

Is there a way I can add my common typos to autocorrect on my Samsung phone? I have been poking around on the keyboard settings but haven't been able to find anything.

Thank you!

Yes! I've done it for some annoying words my thumbs clearly don't like to type correctly.
Try this: (from Samsung's website)

Auto replace will complete or replace the word you are typing with the word it thinks is the most likely for the sentence. As you type, words will be highlighted blue in the middle space of the predictive text bar. To insert the highlighted word, tap the space bar or enter key.

This feature can be activated or deactivated via the "Samsung Keyboard settings" menu. Tap "Auto replace", then tap the switch to activate or deactivate the setting.

And also:

What keyboard are you using? There's ways to add words to your personal dictionary on most keyboards.

Thanks! I'm looking at autoreplace, but I can't see where you can personalise it though. Hmmm. Will keep fiddling.

I think the keyboard is just Samsung keyboard?

I've just double checked on my Samsung phone. When you type the word, autocorrect comes up with three words/options at the bottom of the message. Click and hold the word you want to remove. A message comes up saying "xyz" will be removed from learned words. Click ok and that should do the job.

This used to annoy me too.

Oooh thank you!

Did it work?

Placemarking.
Love my Samsung but this annoys me!
The schedule text message facility is what keeps me as a loyal customer to them!

It did work! All apart from 'you' weirdly- it won't let me remove that one. Thank you so much though, all the others have been banished!
