Hi,
Please can you help.
We have foam insulation in our loft (it was done by previous owners and it was never mentioned on our survey). We have sold our house and we had the homebuyers survey done last Friday. The surveyor said nothing about it. He said he found nothing wrong and that it was a good house.
But I've heard you can't sell your house with foam insulation in the loft. I've Googled it and everything I click on say the same, the buyer will pull out cause the mortgage companies won't give them a mortgage.
Is it really that bad? Are we screwed?
I found the house of my dreams and I'm so scared that will fall through too if the buyer pulls out of buying our house.
Please help put my mind at ease.
Thank you
