Do you have any restraint over Christmas?

Or do you pig out for the sake of it??
Doing my Xmas food shop on Thursday and conscious not to fill my fridge up to bursting point.. But need to cover all bases lol, breakfast, Christmas lunch, cheese courses, chocolate..
Feel full thinking about it already!

No I have no restraint whatsoever!
Luckily we don't get in the ridiculous amount of food that some do so the damage has limits.

I think I've got a bit better the last few years. I have a bit of a 'famine fear' from growing up really poor (actually running out of food/going hungry) and tend to pig out especially on 'nice' or free food. I'm getting better at reassuring myself that I can have whatever it is whenever I want and don't have to buy/eat it all when I see it.

But still, not a huge amount of restraint, no. I just try to start later each year rather than the beginning of Advent!

Until I thought about it I used to be naturally quite restrained. The occasional mince pie and a few more nights out drinking but actual gluttony only occurred between Xmas eve and the day after Boxing Day then a bit in nye/nyd

Then I decided to be 'healthy' and have to restrain myself from binging through December because I will 'be good' from jan. very fucked up

The usual amount. I do 16/8 normally so won’t eat till lunch like a usual day, might snack later as I’ve got my eye on some epic cheeses.

Yes I'm very careful because I'm scared to put on weight. I extend this to alcohol too. I wish it wasn't so important to me because I recognize it takes up alot of my thinking and is borderline an eating disorder. Its pretty miserable and I'm not looking forward to Xmas because I can't just chill and enjoy the food and drink.

I've never put on weight over Christmas. I don't understand the need to pig out because it's Christmas.

Ordinarily, none whatsoever, this year however, I’ve just tested positive, completely lost my appetite and 3lbs in weight. Silver linings..........

I'm pre diabetic, so just have to follow my usual dietary intake. No chocolate, treats, nothing Sad

I can make things out of almond flour with erythritol, but I hate doing food preparation or baking so can't be arsed.
