Eczema - on my boobs? (Obvious TMI)

Posting for traffic .

I haven’t changed washing powder, soap, etc .

Both nipples/the bit around them are scaly, itchy, cracked and bleeding a bit . Have a ‘papery’ rash underneath both breasts too . Have had it on and off for ages but it’s been horrendous last two or three days, I’ve obviously been scratching in my sleep as both quite sore!

I’m 32, not pregnant, not breastfeeding, no hormonal contraceptives, just had a period . Do get raynauds in both, have done since I was a teenager but never had any treatment for that other than being advised to keep hot pads in my bra on cold days !!

Do I need to see GP, or just continue with OTC stuff?

I'd consider trying an antifungal cream like daktacort.

I was surprised to hear that eczema-y skin around my eyes was a fungal infection when the GP said.

You need to get it checked in person by the GP as it could be something inconsequential that'll be solved by moisturising, or it could be a rare occurrence of something that needs different treatment.

Cerave smoothing cream! Someone recommended it on here for a similar thing and it works so well!

I would see the GP - could be fungal (under boob is a common place) but also would want them to look at the skin changes to the nipple

I absolutely would want them checked due to the changes.

I’ve a routine appointment in Jan for anti depressants review so I’ll mention it to GP then, see what she says . Hopefully it’s as simple as just using anti fungal cream yes . I use cerave on my face funnily enough so will give ther a go, that might help a bit . Did briefly wonder if my bra might be the issue but not sure at all . It’s bloody irritating !

Do you have an online appointments system? I think it would be a very good idea to do that first in case it is something that shouldn't wait until January.

OK, I'm sorry. I'm going to scare you rather than try to be non committal.
