Bleeding between periods months after failed IVF treatment

Hi

This is a little complicated and niche but I’m struggling to find any info or advice on this anywhere!

Spent most of this year on IVF treatment, progynova, estrogen etc. Long story short I was about to start my third FET late October but I got Covid 2 days before so the whole thing was cancelled and I stopped all medication immediately. I had a period soon after then a normal period in November, but since then I’ve been bleeding on and off with brown discharge in between. Trying to get anywhere with my GP is an absolute nightmare, so I was wondering if this has anything to do with my hormones being all over the place this year and if it’s a side effect of the medication? I wouldn’t be so worried if this happened immediately after, but it’s been 8 weeks since I had anything so I’m not sure what this could be.
I’ve had swabs taken and all clear so of course I’m panicking it’s something sinister.

Any advice or comments appreciated Smile

Didn't want to read and run, how are you feeling now? Have you asked your IVF clinic what may cause the bleeding?

Thanks for replying Smile
I am now on my period but had a lot of brown discharge in the week or so running up to it (sorry TMI) I tried calling my IVF clinic but nobody got back to me as limited staff over Christmas. I did speak to my GP who noticed I’d had Covid in October and she said unsettled periods can be caused by that. How convenient!
Anyway, I’m hoping to speak to the clinic again in the new year but needless to say the whole thing has left me quite anxious and having health anxiety has not helped. Supposed to be starting cycle 3 (again) in January and I’m just no worried something is underlying.
