Now gone up to £200 a month with Octopus to cover the shortfall of £350 we are in deficit by. We literally made a credit payment of £260 before the first bill and have not managed ti use it all up and some. They want to set payments at this new amount or we pay it and then £170 going forward.
I just feel despairing like I don’t know where all the fuel goes or can be saved. Washing machine - I always avoid the tumble dryer although dh gets feds up and runs it all day sometimes. Heating and hot water - what’s more efficient ? On low all day or set for certain times?
Six teens/adults in a detached house. No exciting electrical uses.
