Please tell me I’m not the only one to faint with the booster

Jab in, felt a bit off, nurse said I’d be fine to sit for a few minutes .

Stood up, next thing I’m on the floor throwing up with three nurses asking if I knew where I was . Had to get taken out to the car in a wheelchair and still feeling off .

Nurses said next time (next time?!!) they’ll do the jab lying flat, but hells teeth . Absolutely mortified .

Don’t worry, they will have seen that before Flowers
Hope you feel ok now.

How exciting!

I got jabbed standing up, which was a first. I think I'd just stopped walking, but I'm not entirely sure as I was ushered out the door arm exposed immediately the needle was out. Good job you went down where you did and not 5 minutes later really.

How are you now?

I have a history of fainting after injections. Just make sure you take someone with you to stop you hitting your head on the way down. My most extreme fainting incident ended in going to A&E with suspected concussion after fainting and hitting my head on a stone floor. I also once fainted forward and freaked myself out completely as I fell with my head going into a big rucksack that was on the floor - so I opened my eyes and still couldn't see anything. Seriously, it's embarrassing at the time but not unusual. Make sure you have eaten and are well hydrated. If you think it's a blood pressure issue google applied muscle tension and try and raise your blood pressure slightly (It's also a good distraction).

Happens to my poor husband every time! He had his booster last night lying on the floor. Hope you’re okay now Flowers
