I bought some trousers from next and I need to return, we've not been well so will go over the 14 days (I thought it was 28 like most stores) do you know if they will still accept returns even if it's a gift card?

I think I’d just ring customer services and explain that you’ve been ill (self isolating?) I’m sure you’re not the first person that’s had to do this recently!

Agree, there's probably an extended Christmas returns period. I've had to ring Next customer services today about something different but similar and they were extremely helpful, so I'd contact them.

I was behind a chap in Next the other day making a return he'd bought in June and they accepted it - the woman said they have relaxed the returns policy with Covid etc so sure you'll be fine!

It was an online delivery that I returned.

They have extended the returns period for Xmas. I emailed them asking about it a while back.

Did you buy online? I get a lot of stuff from there as I find it easy to order multiple sizes/styles to try on. It is rare that I return anything within the period you are meant to. It may be different as I have a credit account.

Slightly off topic but I've been trying to return some items for a week now.

Booked courier to come Thursday (no show) booked again for Friday (no show). Called customer services on Saturday and they booked a courier for today (no show)

Useless.
